Crossing Egypt by foot
In January 2018, Helmy decided to venture off cycling and take it down to the basics of Human endurance.
He organized a team of 4 athletes to cross Egypt on foot from South to North.
A total distance of 900km, averaging 42km per day for 23 days straight.
Going in line with Helmy's vision for change, this expedition was to raise awareness about population growth, FGM, Gender equality and Women's rights.
Guinness World Record
In June 2017, Helmy & alongside a team of Swedish cyclists, crossed Europe from the Eastern-most point to the Western-most point on bicycle.
